Classes at Pets Behave in Niceville, Florida

If you are interested in starting a dog in agility for fun or to compete, Lisa’s classes are geared to help every dog/handler team learn strong foundation skills while developing a great relationship with your dog. Her Foundation and Intro to Agility classes are informative and fun and will have you and your dogs looking forward to coming to “the happy place” every week.

Are you already competing? Lisa’s Wednesday night Masters Agility class will help you continue to develop a strong foundation that will allow you to hone your handling skills and therefore become more successful in the ring. Your improved handling skills will in then develop a strong dog/handler team and therefore a happy, confident dog.

While Lisa is an agility instructor at Pets Behave in Niceville, Florida, the facility offers everything from puppy kindergarten; several levels of obedience from training good manners to training for competition; scent work for beginners and beyond and behavior-related consultations with two of the Certified Behavior Professional. The instructors at Pets Behave have over 50 years of combined experience in dog training and behavior consulting. Whether you want to do it yourself or have Pets Behave train your dog, they have the right choice for you.

Spring 2026 Agility Schedule

    • Monday :: Intro to Agility: Jumps and Tunnels
      For this beginner agility class, dogs learn how to perform jumps, tunnels and will be introduced to the beginning of handling. See the Pets Behave website for more.

      1 hr class; March 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4
    • Monday :: Foundations for Agility (and beyond)
      Introduction to the basic fundamentals of agility. See the Pets Behave website for more.
      7:15-8:15pm
      1 hr class; March 23, 30, April 6, 13, 20, 27
    • Wednesday :: Intro to Agility: Intro to Handling Skills
      This class is designed for those who have taken the Intro to Agility classes and are ready to start learning the basic skills of handling – how to quickly and efficiently help your dog move from one obstacle to the next. See the Pets Behave website for more.

      1 hr class; March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15
    • Wednesday :: Master Drop-In Agility
      Open to all who would like to practice on short sequences that you might see in the Open/Excellent/Master Level and above in any sanctioned agility trial.
